What's freelearning?

It's the result of combining relevant subjects with the philosophy of open education and free open source software (FOSS).

Learn about digital privacy, security and more by taking free, mobile-friendly courses complete with interactive learning modules, self-assessment quizzes and additional resources.

All freelearning course units are developed using the Adapt framework, which is licenced under GPLv3. Except where stated otherwise (with attributions provided), all freelearning content is licenced under CC BY-SA 4.0.

    Available courses

    Digital Privacy Essentials is an introductory course exploring the individual's right to privacy and the importance of digital privacy and security in today's increasingly connected and online world.

    Units will introduce the learner to the various organisations fighting to protect people's privacy, and the key privacy-enhancing tools and techniques they can use right away to better protect themselves.

    Knowledge checks will allow the learner to test their knowledge, and various resources such as challenges, links and further reading compliment the core learning.
